OK did I miss something? According to Google’s AdPlanner, Wikipedia.org accepts advertising and is in the Google Display Network:

Can someone explain this to me? I see no ads on wikipedia and never have… ?

It looks like they are testing mobile adsense with a small number of pages served to mobile devices…10k to 100k impressions per day where the site gets gazillions ( approx 50m) daily visitors.
Wow, VERY interesting! Thanks for sharing that Alan. I wonder what that means exactly… would an affiliate be served well by targeting those Wiki pages with mobile offers I wonder?
