Top Secret Software Revealed

If you’re seeing this, congrats… you’re one of the early few to see this preview of something I’ve been working on. It’s not quite done yet but will be ready for a 1.0 release very very soon. 😉

  1. Hey, Jonathan:

You’re a programming Wizard. Integrating it with WordPress is fantastic. Hopefully deployment is as easy as installing a plugin without any other installations on my hosting server.

Put me on your pre-launch list.

    Thanks
    Oscar

  2. Yep, I knew reporting was absolutely vital as it’s where I spend most of my time. Anyone can gather lots of data, but getting it to tell you something useful and actionable, that’s tricky! I’m really excited to see how this changes the game of running CPA offers. 🙂

  3. @Oscar:

Yep that’s exactly right, just install and activate like any plugin, and you’re ready to go.

That’s a HUGE part of why I’m so excited to develop on WP now. I can use the existing WP database for everything I need and you, the user, don’t have to mess with any DB stuff at ALL. And no code to edit, etc. It’s the cleanest development I’ve ever done in that regard… and I really want to keep people focused on USING my stuff rather than installing/configuring/maintaining it.

That’s another really great area is that WP handles updating too. It will know when there’s a new version and pretty much one-click and you’re done.

This is gonna be great, I can’t wait to release it!!

  4. Hi Jonathan,

Great tool, would like to have my hands on it as soon as you release it. Just a quick question, would this tool work with the slice and dice technique you developed?

  5. Awesome question Brad. First to be clear, I didn’t “develop” what I call “Slice & Dice”, other people were doing it long before me I just gave it that name. Credit where credit is due. =)

As to your question, I have been considering supporting that natively in my application. Unfortunately it’s a tricky thing to get right, and definitely won’t be in version 1.0 anyway.

That’s not to say you couldn’t still USE the technique, it just wouldn’t be all elegantly integrated. I see no reason you couldn’t still set up a “slice & dice” lander and use that as your landing page URL, without an opt-in form of your own (instead framing the offer’s submit form). You’ll have to use someone else’s framing software to do the slicing & resizing, but provided you do that… yeah it should work.

Looking forward to everyone’s feedback once it’s released, I’m going to be really creating it around what you all say you want it to do.

  6. Thanks for the advise Jonathan, so would you recommend any software (other than God CPA and Cake Slice that you mentioned you didn’t feel very comfortable using them) that basically do the slice and dice technique which is framing a specific area of a page/offer?

And one final question, would your tool work for any offer that can be promoted on any network and just don’t really need to tell your AC about it? or its just for offers in networks that allow pre-pops?

    Thanks for the support 🙂

  7. > Thanks for the advise Jonathan,

    Any time! 🙂

    > so would you recommend any software (other than God CPA and Cake Slice that you mentioned you didn’t feel very comfortable using them) that basically do the slice and dice technique which is framing a specific area of a page/offer?

Well to be fair, GodCPA has come a long way since I originally bought it. I haven’t used it in a long time but they were clearly active in development for it. There’s another newer one called GhostCPA (www.ghostcpa.com naturally) that also seems comparable to GodCPA. I think either of those two would do the job.

    > And one final question, would your tool work for any offer that can be promoted on any network and just don’t really need to tell your AC about it? or its just for offers in networks that allow pre-pops?

I’m designing it specifically with prepops in mind for right now, but definitely plan to make it more “universal” in subsequent releases. Most of all I want to get feedback from you all who use it in your businesses, and what you say you need is what I’ll make it do.

    > Thanks for the support 🙂

    Always! 🙂

  8. Holy crap that without doubt is one of the best cpa tools I have seen what an amazing plugin I have been doing cpa for years now and without doubt this is brilliant for this timescale.

  9. The only problem I see with this is that the advertiser may not be happy with just the email as am sure they want the users full name address and phone number is their main priority.

Don’t get me wrong its smart as hell and I want it, but will there be future issues advertiser complaining that your traffic does not convert for his second page?

  10. @Joseph –

I don’t know what happened here, I wrote up a nice long reply to this days ago but just noticed it’s missing. ??? Anyway, here’s basically what I said…

You are absolutely correct with your concern about lead quality and advertisers having an issue. This is why I’m planning to talk quite a bit about how this should be used, and not abused. In my relatively small scale testing I didn’t have any complaints at all, but that doesn’t mean they couldn’t happen especially if you end up sending hundreds of leads a day and not a single one of them gets past page 2.

One of the first features I plan to add after the 1.0 release, is the ability to specify which page to recapture on. This way you could allow the visitor to fill out page 2 and submit, and only THEN recapture them to another offer. This obviously won’t produce as many leads for as many offers as doing it on page 1, but it should basically give you a significant increase in the revenue generated by those leads who DID convert for page 2, and should drastically reduce any issues with advertisers complaining.

Mostly I want feedback from you once you’re using it, on what works, what doesn’t, and what it needs. You ask for it, I’ll build it! 🙂

  11. Great Stuff, Jonathan!

    Can’t wait for the release!

Hopefully you can use the plugin on your 3 Video super Guru launch sequence and then charge the typical $1,997.00 for it.

hehe, but somehow I just don’t think that’s your style!

Thanks, for the share- the tracking feature is killer!

    • Hi Tim,

The status is roughly 85% or so to where I want it to be for a first official release. The beta is usable and I’ve got people who have been using it for months, but it got sidelined somewhat by getting WPGen out the door, which has taken a LOT longer than I anticipated, but has begun going out today.

I’ve got a new beta build of EP I intend to roll out in the near future as soon as I come up for air from WPGen, then I want to put a few finishing touches on “1.0” and let it loose. So stay tuned for more info. 🙂
