New Easy Prepop Release Candidate

Sunday, August 28th, 2011

Yep, at long last… I’ve had my hands so full with my new WPGen WordPress Plugin and helping out my VCS community members, that I hadn’t buckled down to get this new version out to the beta testers!

But at long last, here’s RC3.2.  There are a few important new features I wanted to make sure you knew about as well, so I’ve covered them in this video.

As always please report any bugs, conflicts, or suggestions and I’ll see what I can do to work them into the schedule.  I have a few more relatively small things planned for the 1.0 release but this version is pretty close to final.

Thanks all!

SO Frustrated With GotoWebinar Right Now…

Wednesday, August 24th, 2011

If you were on the LPGen webinar I did earlier (actually yesterday now as I write this at 1:30 am) or couldn’t make it and are waiting for the replay, there’s been a delay.

Fortunately the recording isn’t lost entirely, but it’s definitely being difficult.  I’ve now had to re-screen-capture the entire webinar (at regular speed) not once, but TWICE.  And since it was just shy of 3 hours long… that’s 6 hours just in re-recording, plus lots of swearing and hair-pulling in between.  I won’t bore you with the details, but suffice it to say that this has now happened to me with GotoWebinar recordings twice (no it’s not the “wrong .wmv format” issue) and I will never again take it for granted that GTW will “just work” as far as a simple recording goes!

Anyway, it’s fixable but a huge pain in the neck and since it’s now well past midnight and I’m ready to pass out, I’m going to have to finish this later in the morning.  Sorry about that, replay to come soon.

Update Time… Get WPGen For Free!

Thursday, July 28th, 2011

Hi everyone!  I’ve had a lot going on recently so I figured it was about time for a summary.

So in no particular order…

1.  WPGen (LPGen on WordPress) is nearly complete! I’ve made a beta available to my VanCluteSolution.com members and am getting feedback on stability, etc.

This has been an extremely tricky project, largely because WordPress and LPGen both do a lot of complex URL rewriting, and getting them to play nicely together was anything but easy.  But also because WordPress has so many possible themes and plugins people can use, that it’s impossible to test for all of them.

WPGen has all the features of LPGen plus some new ones while I’ve been at it.  It’s going to be made available free of charge to all current LPGen-X owners.  This means that if you never upgraded to LPGen-X in the past, now is the best time ever to do it.  The cost is only $100 and that gets you the latest & greatest plus access to the WPGen beta (and of course the release version once it’s done).

WPGen introduces some pretty awesome possibilities with WordPress, that have never been available before.  Especially when paired with specialty themes such as ProfitsTheme, not to mention all the plugins out there, the combination of WP and WPGen become a lot more than the sum of their parts (and especially SEOs are going to be very interested in this)!

If you haven’t already seen it, here’s a sneak peek I gave of WPGen a couple weeks ago.

Existing LPGen owners can upgrade to LPGen-X here and get WPGen for free.

2.  Easy Prepop is getting closer to a releasable 1.0, but has been much more challenging than I expected. I’m hoping to release another beta shortly now that WPGen has finally reached beta status too.  There are some major new features in EP that I haven’t talked about yet but will soon, that are going to really rock some people’s world.  I can’t wait to show you!

3.  I’m working on the next case study for my VanCluteSolution.com members.  This one is all about list building with paid traffic, and based on the 4-part outline I already posted, it’s going to be rather “epic” once it’s all done.  I’ll probably end up with something I should sell as a stand-alone course once it’s complete, but for now the only way to get access to it at all, is to join us in VCS.  I’d love to have you as a member of the community so by all means, come check it out!

4.  On a different note, I recently got an iPad 2 (it was given to me, I still don’t think I would ever be willing to pay for one) and am trying to figure out real-world uses for it.  I mean sure it’s a very VERY cool toy and is fun to play with, but I want to see if I can really USE IT in my business.  To that end, I’d love to hear from you if you use an iPad, what your favorite apps are (no games though please, I don’t need more distractions! ;) and how you use it in a business context.  Accessories too… anything you find indispensable.

That’s it for this update, but I’m sure I’ll have more to tell you about soon.  Stay tuned!

For those who haven’t been following along, I’m about to release a killer new tool for CPA marketing, called Easy Prepop.  Check out the video if this is the first you’ve heard about it.

So it’s been fun, but version 1.0 is ALMOST ready to enter the world.  I’ve got a release candidate up right now, that I would love some feedback on.  I’m letting anyone and everyone try this out, and once I have a 1.0 version then I will deactivate the beta version(s).

Grab the latest version from here.

You can check out some temporary tutorials here:

(this one was from an earlier version that had a bug in it with lead reporting, that has since been fixed.  But if you ever see it not firing a lead when it should, please let me know!)

(video created as of RC3.1)

Please report any bugs, issues, comments, or anything else to:

Top Secret Software Revealed

Monday, April 18th, 2011

If you’re seeing this, congrats… you’re one of the early few to see this preview of something I’ve been working on. It’s not quite done yet but will be ready for a 1.0 release very very soon. ;)

Only 100 People Have Seen This.

Friday, April 15th, 2011

Back in November I spoke at Gauher’s TLC seminar in Toronto,
and I got to meet Peter “the CPA Advertiser Guy” while I was
there.

His 2 hour + presentation had people pretty much freaking out,
and all but begging to give him a credit card when he had
brought nothing to sell.

Peter was genuinely sharing some stuff that to my knowledge
hasn’t ever been talked about openly before.

There were only 100 people in the room, and the rest of the
world still has no idea what went down.

Until now that is.

http://tooltrainer.com/a360live.php

Here is your chance to watch the entire live presentation for
yourself, for free.

Those who have seen this before had to brave winter in Toronto
to do so, but you get to watch & learn from the comfort of
your chair.

Even if you don’t want to be an advertiser and are only
interested in being an affiliate, you’d be crazy not to watch
this and pick up on how an advertiser thinks.

It’s 2 hours of pure quality content so do set aside the time
to watch, listen, read (there are PDF transcripts too) and
absorb.

Go check it out now, it’s free in exchange for the usual opt-in.

I Love The Smell Of Technology In The Morning!

Monday, April 11th, 2011

Oh this is just soooooo cool.

I’ve been looking for a while now, for a way to display elements of a page IN SYNC with a video.

It’s easy to just do a javascript delay that causes something to appear X seconds after the page loads.

But I want to actually show stuff ONLY when the video hits a certain point, not just after an arbitrary length of time.

Imagine the possibilities of showing people purchase options ONLY once you’ve communicated your message fully!  Or the potential for e-learning, to display quiz questions only at the right point in a training video.

LOTS of awesome potential for this type of technology.

Problem is, it’s not easy!  I’ve been hunting for an easy way to do this for a while and although I finally found one (Thanks to my man Herschy!), it’s pretty simple and doesn’t have much in the way of bells or whistles.

So, enter another online associate (I hate how Facebook has forever destroyed the meaning of the word “friend”!) Troy, from TroyNotes.com. The dude is a serious technology wizard and has, naturally, come up with a wicked solution to this idea.

And lucky for a few folks, he wants guinea pigs to test it out!

Can you say “SQUEAK”?!!

If you’d like to help Troy test out this new technology, head on over to:

http://www.troynotes.com/1266/video-sales-pages-with-synchronized-elements/

He’s only looking for “A Few Good (Wo)Men” so if that describes you, run don’t walk.  I know I sure did!

Lookign forward to hearing what sort of results we all see from this!

Is It Time For The Big Leagues?

Saturday, April 9th, 2011

If you’re in the affiliate marketing biz, you’ve probably promoted CPA offers at some point.  You might even have done it without realizing it.  Like most things, not everyone makes money doing this.  It’s a classic example of one of those things that sounds like you can’t miss, but in reality there are more ways to miss than I can count.

But when you hit… oh boy is it sweet.

Eventually I think just about every affiliate does the math and comes to a certain realization about CPA offers.  It probably goes something like this…

“Hmmmm… I pay good money for my traffic, and I get paid only if it converts.  But I have to pay for the traffic no matter what.  So my money is at risk no matter what, even though I may not see any profit on the other side.  But what about the advertiser who owns the offer I’m promoting?  They only pay me when something converts for them! And if my traffic really doesn’t work out at all, they can even scrub me or not pay at all.  They’re basically protected no matter what happens.  They don’t pay for any traffic that isn’t converting for them.  OK so, why on earth am I an affiliate instead of an advertiser???

I’ve had numerous people approach me and ask about being an advertiser, about getting their own offer into the CPA networks.  The problem is, almost nobody knows how to do it! And usually, those who do know aren’t really talking very much.  They’re not real public figures and you don’t tend to ever know who they are.

Putting an offer into a CPA network is not as easy as it appears, in fact it’s even less so than just promoting CPA offers.  It’s a total mine field and if you don’t have someone guiding you through it, I simply don’t suggest attempting it unless you have a very large budget you can genuinely afford to risk.

And that’s why I was extremely intrigued last November when I was asked to speak at Gauher Chaudhry’s Traffic, Leads, and Conversions seminar in Toronto.  He had told me in somewhat hushed tones about this guy he was bringing in to speak… Peter… who was going to be reveling some totally top secret insider type stuff about getting into the CPA networks.  I don’t often hear Gauher talk about people with near reverence in his voice, but there it was.  He obviously respected this guy in a huge way.  He didn’t really tell me much more than that though, so when it came time for Peter to speak I wasn’t quite sure what to expect.

Fortunately for me we bumped into each other just a little while before he went on, and got to chatting.  I was really impressed with his knowledge and especially his willingness to share it.  Like I said, these guys are rare and they generally do not talk about what they know. This aspect of the business borders on the clandestine and it’s almost one of those “I could tell you but then I’d have to kill you” kinds of things.

He gave his presentation at the end of the day on Sunday, and many in the room got very anxious because they had booked early flights home and had to leave!  Nobody wanted to miss a word, because for the first time in a long time for most (if not all) of us, we were actually hearing stuff we had never heard before.  It was extremely eye opening.

But the funniest part was, many people who had to leave before Peter was done speaking, grabbed Gauher on the way out and said something like “I have to go but whatever he’s selling I want it!  Can I give you my credit card info now?”

Thing was – Peter had nothing to sell!

He did admit however that he was working on a course that was going to be an “in depth” version of what he had covered in his presentation and much more.  Which was a little scary given how in-depth just this short presentation had been!

Well flash forward to today, and the Advertiser360 course is a reality.

I got a preview copy of the course myself and – holy heavy black box filled with DVDs and workbooks Batman!  This is not for the faint of heart.

I’ve only had a chance to skim it but I am extremely impressed with what I’ve seen so far.  The knowledge being revealed here is truly being revealed for the first time publicly, and I think it’s going to open up some major doors for certain people.

That being said, this is not for everyone!

Information like this does not come cheaply, and the Advertiser360 course is no exception.  All too often I see people run out to spend money they don’t have and can’t afford to go without, on information that they won’t really ever have the time or discipline to implement properly anyway.

Don’t do that.  Advertiser360 is very different from anything that’s come before, and is going to require a serious commitment to make it work.  This is not something for the semi-committed marketer who has a few hours a week to put into their business.  This is for the truly serious who are going to absorb everything and then take absolutely tremendous amounts of action.

Now that I’ve got that off my chest… let’s talk about what I want to offer you as an incentive for buying this course if it’s appropriate for you.  That’s right, it’s bonus time!

For those who buy Advertiser360 through my affiliate link, I will give you the following:

1)  LIMITED TO 10 PEOPLE:

Let’s start with the big one shall we?  You may know me as “the prepop guy” because of my free report on how to make money pre-popping CPA offers.  The one problem with this method is that it requires an advertiser who understands the value of accepting prepop, and they have to actually set their offer pages up for it.  Otherwise, it simply doesn’t work.

When you have gone through the Advertiser360 course and are ready to put your own offer out there, I will implement prepop for you so that you can increase conversion rates for your affiliates, and ultimately for you.  You can prepop as much information as you want – it’s not just about email addresses.  We will get on the phone and discuss your offer and what you want to do with it, and I’ll actually DO the prepop implementation for you.  I’ll plan it, code it, and test it to make sure it’s production ready. I’ll also go over some suggestions of my own on protecting your offer from fraud, and implement them as well if you’d like.

I have to limit this first one because I’m just one guy and I can’t possibly do this for hundreds!  =)

2)  The next one is hard to discuss right now because I haven’t publicly revealed it yet, so I have to be a little bit secretive.  I have a new software tool I’m about to announce, that I’ve been secretly working on for the last couple of months.  I really think it’s going to freak a lot of people out because it does something that pretty much everyone, myself included, would have said was impossible.  I really can’t say anything more than that right now, but it’s a tool for CPA marketers that, if properly used, can put a lot of extra money in their pockets.  You will receive a free license to the Pro Multi-Site Edition of this software, which by itself will have a $299 price tag on it.

3)  I’ll give you an entire month access at no cost, to my Skype Consulting Club.  This means you’ll have me available during the week, at your fingertips, by text chat to discuss anything you need help with in your business.  Anything at all.  And the month won’t start until you’re ready for it to.  I would charge $149 per month for this but frankly, what are solutions to your problems worth, if it means you get back to business and overcome obstacles?  I say priceless.

So there you have it, my bonuses for buying Advertiser360.  These are easily worth $1500 , between software, consulting, and me actually implementing prepop for you on your own offer.  Even if you’re not one of the first 10, it’s at least $450 of hard value let alone the intangible value of me helping you for a month.

If you take me up on this, send me your receipt after you purchase and I’ll make sure to hook you up.  I’m going to try to do a webinar in the near future as well and get either Peter or Gauher on to take your questions and really get into the nitty gritty of this stuff.
