I’d love to be revealing that I have a new awesome viral promotion plugin for WordPress.

Fact is, I’ve had one in mind for quite some time, and even started on development of some of its features last year.

But as so often happens, other things came along and got in the way, and it hasn’t really progressed terribly far.

Well… I guess I shouldn’t be at all surprised that the old saying “you snooze, you lose” has proven to be true.

Welly Mulia and his team – the ones behind ProfitsTheme and Premium List Magnet – have just finished a new very slick viral promotion plugin that they’ll be launching in a little less than 24 hours from this post.

At first glance, it looks like it’s “just another squeeze page plugin”, and in fact looks very similar to his existing Premium List Magnet plugin. But scratch a little deeper and it’s clear just how different this new plugin actually is.

It’s sortof a combination of a squeeze page generator, Facebook optin manager, and viral rewards system all rolled into one. All in all, very slick and looks to be another fine product from Welly and crew.

During the launch he’s offering it at a pretty huge discount too, so if it resonates with you, grab it while it’s cheap.

Check out the demo video and see if it’s something you might be able to use in your business. I’m guessing for most of us that answer will be an easy “yes!”

I wouldn’t believe this if I hadn’t just grabbed it for myself.

Years ago (like in the late 90s) I was in the video editing & animation industry, and owned/operated a Post Production company. I wasn’t a 3D animator myself (I hired people for that) but I liked to dabble in my spare time. One program I played with a lot was Bryce – an absolutely amazing and unique environment & landscape design & animation system. It was absolutely amazing and there was nothing like it.

Bryce has been sold I think a few times since then to different companies, and the company who owns it now is GIVING it away along with some other software, and all you have to do is agree to receive their email newsletter.

Have you been driven absolutely out of your ever-lovin’ mind, because you recorded a video using the fabulous and free Jing, only to discover that now you can’t convert it to MP4, Youtube, Amazon S3, or anywhere else because NOTHING will open Jing SWFs??

I know I sure have, and I’m sick to death of it. I looked high and low, and despite finding many programs that can indeed open and convert SWF files, NONE of them can open or convert a Jing SWF in specific.

So what’s the solution? Well it may come as no surprise that the ONE PROGRAM that can actually open a Jing SWF, is Techsmith’s own Camtasia Studio program. In fact in Jing, there’s a button you can click to “Edit in Camtasia” which will actually open the Jing SWF in Camtasia, convert it to an AVI, and then import that AVI into Camtasia for your editing/publishing pleasure.

But you don’t have to then output it with Camtasia. By default, the converted file will be stored in:

C:\Users\[YOUR USER NAME]\Documents\Camtasia Studio\

You can simply grab the AVI file, drop it into Handbrake or whatever else you’re using, and convert away.

The only downside here is that Camtasia Studio isn’t free. But there is a 30 day trial, and if you can’t afford to buy it and you’re clever you can run it in a sandbox forever and just keep using the trial endlessly.

I hope this helps someone else who’s been as frustrated by needing to convert Jing videos as I have been!

I don’t know how many people even know about Looksmart, but they’re one of the larger 2nd tier PPC engines.  They do have a lot of traffic and it can be a whole LOT cheaper than Adwords for the same clicks.
